We currently have the following positions open for applications. All our positions are on voluntary basis, as this organization is a non-profit charity.

1. Research Assistant:

(currently open) 

Job brief:

Conducting research on the internet, reports, articles, and all possible materials, collecting information, writing draft reports about the information collected, and editing the report based on the reviewer’s comments and feedback.

Responsibilities:

·      Conducting research on specific humanitarian causes in specific countries
·      Collecting and organizing information and facts
·      Writing reports with referencing, editing and revising them, and responding to reviewers’ comments.
·      Ability to meet deadlines
·      Ability to meet when necessary
·      Flexible hours (minimum 4 hours/week)

Requirements and qualifications:

·      Good English language (reading and writing) skills
·      Good understanding of the humanitarian field jargons and terminology
·      Experience in making proper referencing for the information collected
·      Ability to reporting the information in an organized way
·      Experience in using Microsoft Word and Excel and Google Docs and Sheets
·      Experience in working in the humanitarian or human rights field would be an asset.
·      Studying or graduating from international development programs or any humanitarian-related majors would be an asset.

2. Graphic Designer: 

(currently open) 

Job brief:

We are looking for graphic designers who can create creative posters, infographic designs, and all graphic contents that will be used in reports, presentations, website, social media, and in videos. We are looking for innovative designers who can build new styles rather than following the popular themes, and are capable of producing any required graphic content (raster and vector), with different extensions, in the minimum number of iterations.

Responsibilities:

·      Creating graphic contents and visual aspects of marketing materials, websites and other media, including infographics.
·      Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for data illustrations, reports and presentations, social media and website
·      Amending designs based on reviews
·      Developing the organization’s brand guidelines
·      Ability to meet deadlines
·      Ability to meet when necessary
·      Flexible hours (minimum 4 hours/week)

Requirements and qualifications:

·      Strong English language and communication skills
·      Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software
·      Extensive experience with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, specifically with mockups, web design and multimedia presentation.
·      Exceptional creativity and innovation
·      Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
·      Excellent time management and organisational skills
·      Accuracy and attention to detail
·      An understanding of the latest trends and how to simplify presenting information
·      Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
·      Experience in working in the humanitarian or human rights field would be an asset.

3. InfoGraphic Video Designer: 

(currently open) 

Job brief:

We are looking for graphic designers who can create high quality and creative infographic videos and animations to present stories, facts, and information in a simple way. 

Responsibilities:

·      Creating infographic videos and animations with new concepts and styles
·      Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for data illustrations, reports and presentations, social mediaand website
·      Amending and re-editing videos based on reviews
·      Following the organization’s brand guidelines
·      Ability to meet deadlines
·      Ability to meet when necessary
·      Flexible hours (minimum 4 hours/week)

Requirements and qualifications:

·      Strong English language and communication skills
·      Extensive experience with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, and video making/editing software, such as iMovie, Final Cut Pro...etc.
·      Exceptional creativity and innovation
·      Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio and samples of videos
·      Excellent time management and organisational skills
·      Accuracy and attention to detail
·      An understanding of the latest trends and how to simplify presenting information
·      Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
·      Experience in working in the humanitarian or human rights field would be an asset.
